Angela Carrington

The annual event is held in memory of Angela Carrington who took part in many open mic events but suffered from mental illness and took her life in May 2005. She was a classically trained woodwind musician and a jazz singer/songwriter. Angela was incredibly supportive of other singers and was a source of encouragement to many who came to the open mic events.
